Amazing snowy weekend stay
We could not have been any happier with our stay. The home and thoughtful details exceeded our expectations! It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed to make our meals with nice addition, such as an air fryer, Keurig, electric tea, kettle, and crockpot. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent handicap accessible rental home
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Laurel. Then ramp and accessible bathroom were exactly what we needed for our adult handicapped son! The house is beautifully decorated and spacious. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, and the kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The house is loaded with amenities, including a baby gate on the back porch, which came in handy to keep our grandson from wandering. The location is perfectly located to access Swallow Falls park to hike. We are looking forward to come g back to Mountain Laurel again.

Best Vacation Ever!!!!!
This was unanimously voted by far our family's favorite vacation! The houses at Timber Rock are luxury, with beautiful rustic charm and exceptional, hand picked decor. The Village is in the most peaceful setting in a pine forest, offering great privacy. The hot tub, fire pit, game room and included kayaks make it a great value and the service was 5 star! Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Excellent
My family an I had a wonderful week staying at Mountain Laurel. The house was beautiful and very clean. My family of 10 had plenty of room to spread out. The 4 bedrooms were perfect, especially the handicap bedroom with the roll in shower. We all enjoyed the large kitchen, which had everything needed to cook our meals. The dining room table was our favorite spot. It fit all 10 of us comfortably. The table was used during meals and for playing board games, coloring pictures and crafting. My older grandkids enjoyed the game room upstairs. The adults enjoyed the hot tub very much and when additional water was needed in the hot tub, Timber Rock service responded quickly and had the hot tub up and running in no time. We enjoyed the beautiful fire pit and of course made s'mores. The front and back porches were used to sit and watch for deer or birds, or to let the kids go outside during the rainy periods. We also loved the flat backyard and were able to get several games of cornhole in. Besides enjoying the Mountain Laurel house, we also enjoyed the dock area and kayaked a few mornings. Unfortunately, the fish were not biting from the dock but we still had fun dropping our fishing lines and trying. The location of the Mountain Laurel home is close to many activities and state parks. We ventured to Swallow Falls, Deep Creek Lake Park, Broadford Lake Park and FunLand. We all enjoyed our week at Deep Creek and hope to return to Mountain Laurel in the years to come.

Mountain Laurel
The home was perfect! High end appliances with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. The covered front and back porch is wonderful when it rained. We were greeted by Bill, the maintenance man, and had good communication throughout our stay. We have been vacationing in deep creek for 18 years. This location was the best. We will be back next year!

What can I say the property was absolutely gorgeous had everything you would need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing..they even have beach towels to use when soaking in the hot tub..(They're above the washing machine) . Alyssa was quick to respond and any questions that you may have had was answered by the information that was sent to you by e-mail very thorough. You can't go wrong renting this home or any home at Timberrock!!

Great house! Perfect for a winter getaway
We really enjoyed our long weekend at mountain laurel. The house was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked and great to make large meals in. The house was dog friendly and had things like dog bowls and doggie bags for use. Despite ongoing snow throughout the weekend, the roads and driveways were maintained and allowed us to safely get in and out of the community. This was our second winter staying in Timber Rock Village and we will definitely be back!

Our Stay
We had an amazing time. The home was beautiful and perfect for my brother who uses a wheelchair. It was accessible in all areas. The location was very peaceful. Sadly, we had to leave early due to the winter storm. The kitchen could use more pots and pans but otherwise, the home was very lovely. We plan to rent again.

Holiday Getaway
This was our first time visiting Oakland, MD. The house and private community was beautiful and very well decorated...and the Christmas touch of lights and trees made our holiday getaway an extremely enjoyable experience. When we come back next year we'll definitely be staying in the same community.

Mountain Laurel Getaway
We have been vacationing in Deep Creek for over 40 years and we have just found the hidden gem. Our stay at Timber Rock's Mountain Laurel property far exceeded our expectations and previous experiences. This property is stunning inside and out!
